His report mu st hav e been good because the family subsequently moved to Beatrice o r at l east northeast of Beatrice in that same year. JP and Samantha m ust ha ve continued to live with the McCowns until 1909--some 13 year s unti l they bought a farm in Armour, Nebraska near Liberty, Nebraska . JP m ay have actually been a hired man for John Ayers McCown, becam e like one of the family and married one of the daughters.
